(Canticum Isaiae * Isa 2:2-3)
2:2 And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains,
2:2 and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.
2:3 And many people shall go, and say: Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob,
2:3 and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths:
2:3 for the law shall come forth from Sion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Sucederá nos dias que hão-de vir *
que o monte do templo do Senhor
se há-de erguer no cimo das montanhas *
e se elevará no alto das colinas.

Ali afluirão todas as nações *
e muitos povos acorrerão, dizendo:
«Vinde, subamos ao monte do Senhor, *
ao templo do Deus de Jacob.
Ele nos ensinará os seus caminhos, *
e nós andaremos pelas suas veredas.
De Sião há-de vir a lei *
e de Jerusalém a palavra do Senhor».
